In the garden, on the terrace, by the pool or on the paths: outdoor tiles furnish the outdoor environment.
Also suitable for indoor environments, stoneware outdoor tiles offer the advantage, if you choose the same collection, of extending the living area outdoors, but have a higher thickness than those for indoor use, on average between 19 and 20 mm, so that the floor area can also be walked on.
With stone, wood or cement effects, material finishes and in a variety of colours and formats, outdoor tiles bring the style of the house outdoors, to the balcony, terrace, poolside or garden.
In the terrace, balcony or around the pool, the type of laying is a glue on a concrete screed, while in the garden and in the paths, the tiles must be laid dry on grass, gravel or sand.
In addition to stoneware tiles, other materials can also be chosen for outdoor use, such as reconstructed stone, which is very flexible and customizable in its finishes. All outdoor tiles must have a series of characteristics: they must be resistant to atmospheric agents, frost and temperature changes, as well as being waterproof and non-slip, the latter being a very important factor for outdoor flooring. The non-slip properties of the tiles are indicated by the letters R: excellent slip resistance is achieved with a value of R 10 or R 11.
